I havn't heared about that. Sound's like a rumour to me. Do you remember last time (or was it the book before?) though - someone really did steal a lorryload of unbound Harry Potter books before they came out! |

Aha...now I know whether Sape is evil and who stays alive...
And I still havn't worked out wether I like these books or not.
Judging by staying awake till 4:30 in the morning reading them, (and crying) I think I must do. I really like the first three books and the last 200 pages of the last one, anyway. The rest of it is boring and depressing.
Is it just me, or is the end very kind of...biblical?
I havn't seen the films, except the first one, wich I can't remember except that it annoyed me.
One shop in the middle of nowhere did start selling the 7th book early, they got into huge trouble though.
It's weird the similarity between the epilogue and the epilogue of Firesong. Weird simmelarities all over the place, in fact, but I think that's impossible to avoid since there are so many books ands millions of stories around. Perhaps the oddest thing is how Harry now reminds me of the Amazing Maurice! |

ah well... it hasn't happened yet.
It's 9 years in the future, when the rest of it's 10 years in the past. Which kind of spoils the extra credibility of having it all 10 years ago. The epilogue wasn't too bad, but it wasn't particularly good either. Still, I think it kind of ended the story OK.
How did you know that there was still any doubt after the 6th book about whether Snape was evil or not? (looks like you were dissappointed there!) |

| I thought Deathly Hallows was awesome. I loved just about everything in it, especially Snape's and Dumbledore's stories. It's been quite a long journey. |

I thought that HP and the Deathly Hallows was pretty boring untill they got to Hogwarts (wichi in this case was about 4/5 of the way through). The last 5th was awsome, but still not a patch on WOF!
Welcome to the messageboard, elin! We could do with a few extra members (thers's only about 4 of us here at the moment!) A word of warning though - we're all complete lunatiks. |

That's poppycock, I was glad not to have Hogwarts, it made the book so much more interesting.
However, all of the books have been going downhill since the 3rd!!!! love them, though _________________ "Her name was Eponine; her life was cold and dark, yet she was unafraid" |

I agree, they have all gone downhill since the third! Finally someone agrees with me!
But do you really think a tent in the middle of nowhere with only three charactors is more interesting than Hogwarts with everybody, including Neville and Professor Mcgonagall and Crabbe and Goyle and the rest (not just Weasleys and Order members)? |

yes it was different and the different context gave so much more depth to the characters _________________ "Her name was Eponine; her life was cold and dark, yet she was unafraid" |
